Economic benefits

Navigator Quarter will attract new businesses to the region, boosting inward investment and delivering a range of economic benefits. The development will be designed to be flexible to a broad range of occupiers and sectors, including manufacturing, research and development, and logistics.

The scheme has the potential to support around 3,000 new jobs. This is a combination of jobs created at Navigator Quarter, construction jobs and indirect supply chain roles associated with the scheme. In addition, various skills and training opportunities will be created.

Once operational, Navigator Quarter would make a significant contribution to the local and regional economy each year.

We have commissioned a detailed assessment of economic benefits of the proposed development and will be submitting a full Economic Assessment as part of the planning application.
