blocwork and SIAL are bringing forward a planning application for a high-quality strategic employment destination on land east of Southampton Airport.

The site is allocated for employment uses within the Eastleigh Borough Local Plan. It’s where the Council wants to see new jobs created to support the balanced growth of Eastleigh and the local area.

We are proposing to transform the site to create around 92,000 sqm of high-quality industrial and business space with associated service yards, car parking, landscaping, infrastructure works and a new access road. The buildings will vary in size and scale to provide maximum flexibility and to accommodate a range of uses, needs and occupiers. Buildings will be designed to be energy efficient to achieve a BREEAM score of ‘Excellent’.

We are seeking 'outline' planning permission to develop the site, providing detail of the site access. Further detailed aspects of the scheme will then be submitted and determined at a later stage through a Reserved Matters application(s).
